As part of Swift Oil Limited’s aspirations to diversify it’s portfolio, they made a bold move by investing and buying out former shareholders of Chorus Energy to own the asset 100% under s sole risk arrangement. Following from the buyout, Swift Oil secured the Ministerial Approval of the asset that allowed title as the owner of the assets and was also granted the approval to commence operations.

In September 2014, Chorus Energy under new Management engaged the services of Tako E& P on a turnkey arrangement to commence the recompletion of Matsogo-1 and Igbolo-1 Well.
